This Amendment Order updates the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Order 2020 by incorporating specified amendments into the authorised version and makes the order commence on the day it is notified in the Gazette (clause 2). The Minister has determined the changes do not alter the original order so much that it must be submitted to Parliament under the Act (clause 7). Affected parties include the project proponent, regulators and the Department of State Growth because the instrument changes the authorised legal text and its commencement timing.
