S. 64(1) amended by Nos 82/2012 s. 123(1), 31/2024 s. 113(Sch. 1 item 23.22).
(1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, obstruct, hinder, threaten or abuse the Chief Integrity Inspector in the performance of the Chief Integrity Inspector's functions under this Act.
1. 10 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months or both.
(2) Proceedings may only be instituted for an offence under subsection (1)—

(a) by the Chief Integrity Inspector; or
(b) by or with the consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
