Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

These Regulations say members of the public are not allowed on cricket grounds and may be kept out of any other part of a cricket venue where entry is indicated as prohibited. Venue operators or authorised persons decide which areas are closed and how to indicate that (for example, signs, fences, adverts, pamphlets or a person’s direction). Venues bear the cost of marking exclusions; the public must comply. Enforcement and penalties are handled under the Major Cricket Events Act (see reg 2 and s 8(1)(a) of the Act).
