### 81 Attendance of parties
> > (1) [*\[Rule 81 Subrule (1) amended by S.R. 2013, No. 69, Applied:04 Sep 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-09-04/sr-2013-069#GS48@EN) The Court may direct a registrar to serve a notice in an approved form on any party requiring that party to attend any or all of the following:

> > > > (a) a directions hearing;
> > >
> > > > (b) a conciliation conference;
> > >
> > > > (c) a listing conference.

> > (2) A notice under [subrule (1)](#GS81@Gs1@EN) may require a party to attend a directions hearing, conciliation conference or listing conference in person.
>
> > (3) If the party is a body of persons, corporate or unincorporate, a natural person authorised to represent the party is to attend the conference or hearing.
>
> > (4) If an insurer is subrogated to the rights of a party, a person authorised to represent the insurer may attend the conference or hearing on behalf of that party.
