### 54 Interpleader > A person may apply to the Court for directions as to parties to be served and procedure to be followed if the person – > > > > (a) is being sued, is about to be sued or may be sued by 2 or more persons making competing claims in respect of – > > > > > > > > (i) personal property in the person's possession or under the person's control; or > > > > > > > > > (ii) proceeds from a disposition of that property; and > > > > > (b) is uncertain as to whom the property or proceeds belong; and > > > > > (c) expressly disclaims any personal interest in, or claim to, any part of the property or proceeds in dispute.
