> > (1) An originating application that requires an appearance and is served in Tasmania is to be served at least 9 clear days before the hearing date.

> > (2) An originating application that does not require an appearance and is served in Tasmania is to be served at least 2 clear days before the hearing date.

> > (3) An originating application that is served outside Tasmania is to be served the number of days before the hearing date that is 2 days more than the period limited for the entry of an appearance under [rule 99](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/sr-2000-008#GS99@EN) of the [Supreme Court Rules 2000](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/sr-2000-008) in respect of the place at which the application is served.
