### 19 Practitioner acting on behalf of a party > > (1)  A practitioner is taken to be acting on behalf of a party if the practitioner files and serves on all other parties a notice in writing of that fact. > > > (2)  A practitioner acting on behalf of a party is to continue to act on behalf of that party until – > > > > > > (a) the Court orders that the practitioner may cease to act; or > > > > > > > (b) the practitioner files a notice in writing that he or she has ceased to act on behalf of that party. > > > (3)  A practitioner who files a notice under [subrule (2)(b)](#GS19@Gs2@Hpb@EN) is to notify the Court of – > > > > > > (a) the last-known address of that party; and > > > > > > > (b) the last dealings that the practitioner had with that party.
