Tasmania regulation
These Rules amend the Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Rules 1998. They take effect when their making is notified in the Gazette and the amendments are incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Rules. Made by the Magistrates Court Rules Committee and administered by the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations, the instrument changes the court's procedural rules and therefore affects people and lawyers who operate under those Magistrates Court (Civil Division) rules (see rules 2–3 and incorporation notes at rules 4–7).
