Tasmania regulation
This instrument updates the Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Rules 1998 by amending the cost scales that govern how legal costs are calculated in civil proceedings before the Magistrates Court. It affects litigants, lawyers and others who may be liable for or entitled to cost awards. The amendments come into force seven days after Gazette notification (rule 2) and are recorded as incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Rules (rules 4–5).
