51B Transitional provision—Courts Legislation Amendment (Judicial Officers) Act 2013—part-time magistrates A magistrate who was a part-time magistrate as defined in section 3(1) immediately before the repeal of that definition by the **Courts Legislation Amendment (Judicial Officers) Act 2013**, on and from that repeal— (a) continues to hold the office of magistrate; and (b) is taken to be serving under a part-time service arrangement on the same terms as applied to the magistrate in his or her capacity as a part-time magistrate.
