5 Chief Magistrate
(1) [Section 5 Subsection (1) amended by No. 54 of 2003, s. 5, Applied:25 Sep 2003] Subject to section 19 (4) , the Governor may appoint a permanent full-time magistrate to be the Chief Magistrate.
(2) The Chief Magistrate may resign from the office of Chief Magistrate but still retain the office of magistrate.
