This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This determination sets the 2007–08 total allowable catch for the Macquarie Island Toothfish Fishery, affecting fishing concession holders and their agents. It fixes Patagonian toothfish limits by area with conditional lifting of the Macquarie Ridge cap tied to sustained high catch rates, and creates a combined bycatch ceiling with per‑species caps.
It implements rules from the Macquarie Island Toothfish Fishery Management Plan 2006 and the Fisheries Management Act 1991.
