Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This short housekeeping regulation repeals three historical “London Account” regulations (1926, 1930, 1931) that governed Australia’s government bank account operations in London. It mainly affects government finance officials; for the public it’s administrative tidy-up. The repeal removes obsolete controls tied to past sterling‑area arrangements, cleaning up the statute book now that those rules are redundant.
