6 Required expertise, knowledge or skills—the Act, s 27(4)

The following areas are prescribed—

(a) leadership, strategic planning and management,

(b) regional service delivery and working with industry, government and other partners,

(c) audit, financial control and reporting and risk management,

(d) primary industries or providing services to support primary industries,

(e) contemporary biosecurity programs in—

(i) animal and plant health, and

(ii) pest and weed management,

(f) emergency management, especially biosecurity and natural disaster emergencies,

(g) natural resource management and biodiversity conservation,

(h) working with Aboriginal communities and groups,

(i) local government,

(j) community engagement.
