45 Use of information

Local Land Services may use and disclose information received in an annual return for the following purposes—

(a) preventing, managing or eradicating biosecurity risks,

(b) preparing and implementing emergency preparedness and response programs for biosecurity risks,

(c) preparing for and responding to droughts, fires, floods and other emergencies,

(d) verifying the notional carrying capacity of a holding,

(e) administering services associated with agricultural production or animal health,

(f) preparing statistical data relating to animal health or the protection of rural land,

(g) preparing annual reporting information under the Government Sector Finance Act 2018 and annual reports under the Act,

(h) preparing the roll for an election of members of a local board.
