#### 25 Irregularities concerning rates 25 Irregularities concerning rates > > (1) The Minister may extend the period for a rate to be fixed or rate notice to be given if for any reason the rate is not fixed, or rate notice is not given, within the period prescribed by or under the Act. > > > (2) The Minister may authorise Local Land Services to do any things that are necessary to cure an irregularity and to validate a rate if any irregularity in fixing or levying a rate affects, or may be considered to affect, the validity of any rate.
