#### 56 What is rateable land? 56 What is rateable land? > For the purposes of this Act, land within a region is rateable land if it is the whole or any part of a holding that is within the region and either— > > > (a) the land has an area that is not less than the area prescribed by the regulations in relation to the region for the purposes of this paragraph, or > > > (b) if the regulations provide for land to be rateable land in any other specified circumstances—those circumstances exist in respect of the land.
