#### 44 Periodic review and auditing of plans 44 Periodic review and auditing of plans > > (1) Local Land Services is to ensure that the State strategic plan is kept under regular and periodic review and, in particular, is to cause the plan to be reviewed if the Minister so directs. > > > (2) The Minister is to ensure that the State strategic plan is audited, at intervals of not more than 5 years, to ascertain whether its provisions are being given effect. > > > (3) An audit under this section is to be carried out by the Natural Resources Commission or an independent person, body or panel appointed by the Minister. > > > (4) The Minister may direct that the costs of an audit (in whole or in part) under this section be paid by Local Land Services. > > **s 44:** Am 2018 No 66, Sch 3.3 \[1\].
