#### 204 Owner of stock may be ordered to muster stock 204 Owner of stock may be ordered to muster stock > > (1) An authorised officer of the Minister or Local Land Services may, with the approval of the Minister or Local Land Services, order a person who owns stock to muster the stock on the person’s holding (or on a designated part of it) or at some other designated place for a purpose and at a time specified in the order. > > > (2) A person who fails to comply with such an order at the time specified in it is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. > > > (3) If a person fails to comply with such an order at the specified time the authorised officer may have the muster carried out at the person’s expense. > > > (4) The Minister or Local Land Services may recover the expense of having a muster carried out under this section as a debt in any court of competent jurisdiction.
