#### 203 Certificate as to rates, charges and other matters 203 Certificate as to rates, charges and other matters > > (1) Any person may apply to Local Land Services for a certificate as to any of the following matters— > > > > > (a) the amount (if any) due or payable to Local Land Services by way of rates, levies, contributions, charges or other amounts in respect of land, > > > > > (b) the person liable to pay any amount referred to in paragraph (a), > > > > > (c) any other matter prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this section. > > > (2) The application must be in the approved form and be accompanied by the fee prescribed by the regulations. > > > (3) Local Land Services is to issue a certificate to the applicant in the approved form containing the information sought. > > > (4) The production of the certificate is conclusive proof of the matters certified (including in favour of a purchaser in good faith and for value of the land to which the certificate relates that, at the date of its issue, no amounts were payable to Local Land Services in respect of the land other than such amounts as are specified in the certificate). > > > (5) For the purposes of this section, rates, levies, contributions, charges or other amounts are taken to be due or payable even though the requisite period after service of any relevant rate or other notice may not have expired.
