This order lets the Huon Valley Council replace certain rates it set on 26 June 2013 for the 2013–14 year — specifically the general rate and service rates for fire service contributions — by remaking them within a limited period ending 30 June 2014. It affects the council and the ratepayers charged under those rates by correcting a legal defect so new, legally valid rates can be made and collected.
