Tasmania regulation
This order adjusts municipal boundaries by adding two specific titled parcels at Pipers River into the George Town and Launceston municipal areas (cl.6). It takes effect when notified in the Gazette and is administered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet (cl.2; admin note). The immediate, mechanical effect is to make those parcels part of the named municipal areas, thereby changing which council legally governs them — with any downstream effects on local administration, services or rates left unspecified in the order.
