### 113 Recovery of subscriptions towards making or maintenance of a highway > > (1)  *\[Section 113 Subsection (1) amended by No. 30 of 1995, s. 3 and Sched. 1 \]*Any subscribers to a written agreement to pay any money for or towards the making or maintaining of a highway vested in or under the control of a council shall pay the sums of money so agreed to be paid within such time and in such proportions as may be expressed in the agreement, and where no time is, or proportions are, so expressed, then at such time and in such proportions as the council directs. > > > (2)  Money payable under [subsection (1)](#GS113@Gs1@EN) shall be demanded by and paid to the treasurer or collector of the corporation and is a charge on the land owned by each subscriber to the relevant agreement.
