100 Infringement notices

(1)  [Section 100 Subsection (1) amended by No. 4 of 2011, s. 45, Applied:01 Jun 2011] [Section 100 Subsection (1) amended by No. 4 of 2011, s. 45, Applied:01 Jun 2011] [Section 100 Subsection (1) substituted by No. 27 of 2008, Sched. 1, Applied:28 Apr 2008] A parking attendant may serve an infringement notice on the registered operator of a vehicle or on the owner of another thing if of the opinion that the vehicle or thing has been used in the commission of an offence under section 97 , 98 or 99 .

(1A)  [Section 100 Subsection (1A) inserted by No. 4 of 2011, s. 45, Applied:01 Jun 2011] A parking attendant or a council clerk may serve an infringement notice on a person referred to in section 94A(5A) in respect of an offence relating to a vehicle or other thing if of the opinion that the vehicle or other thing has been used in the commission of an offence under section 97 , 98 or 99 .

(2)  An infringement notice under subsection (1) may be served by affixing it to the vehicle or other thing in respect of which the offence occurred.

(3)  An infringement notice is to be in accordance with section 14 of the Monetary Penalties Enforcement Act 2005 .
