33 Transfer of other staff

(1) Each member of staff (other than senior staff) of a former council (other than an altered council) immediately before the amalgamation day is transferred to one of the new councils, as determined by agreement between the new councils, in accordance with that agreement.

Note—

Part 6 of Chapter 11 of the Act contains provisions relating to transferred non-senior staff.

(2) A transfer under subclause (1) (or as determined by the Minister under clause 5 of this Proclamation) is taken to have effect on and from the amalgamation day.
