Tasmania regulation
This order sets the closing day for the postponed Break O'Day and Glamorgan‑Spring Bay council elections as 22 December 2009 (s4). It takes effect when notified in the Gazette (s2), revokes the earlier Local Government (Elections) Order 2009 (s5), and is to be read as if it were by‑laws under the Acts Interpretation Act 1931 (s3). The Department of Premier and Cabinet administers the order, so electoral officials and the two councils must follow the fixed timetable.
