78Delegation and discretionary authority

78 Delegation and discretionary authority A local law may— (a) confer a discretionary authority or impose a duty on a specified person or body or a specified class of persons or bodies; and (b) leave any matter or thing to be from time to time determined, applied, dispensed with or regulated by the Council; and (c) delegate to the Chief Executive Officer any power specified in the local law; and (d) authorise the Chief Executive Officer to delegate a power referred to in paragraph (c) to the holder of an office or position as a member of Council staff.
