345 Definitions In this Chapter: commencement means the commencement of the new Act. LGANT means the Local Government Association of the Northern Territory, continued under section 346. new Act means the Local Government Act 2019. former Act means the Local Government Act 2008, as in force immediately before the commencement. repealed, in relation to a section, means the section of the former Act as in force immediately before the commencement.
