331 Service of documents by council or local government (1) A notice, order or other document the council or local government subsidiary is required or permitted to serve under this Act, may be served: (a) personally on the person to whom it is addressed; or (b) by leaving it for the person at the person's place of residence, employment or business; or (c) by posting it, addressed to the person, at the person's last known place of residence, employment or business. (2) If a council or local government subsidiary serves a notice, order or other document on a person in the person's capacity as owner or occupier of land, it binds successors in title or successive occupiers (as the case requires).
