19A Protection from liability (1) A person appointed to constitute a prospective council under section 19(6) is not civilly or criminally liable for an act done or omitted to be done by the person in good faith in the exercise of a power or performance of a function under this Act. (2) Any civil liability that would, but for this section, attach to the person, attaches instead to the prospective council.
