169 Vacancy (1) If there is a vacancy in the office of the CEO, the council must advertise the vacancy: (a) within 8 weeks of the vacancy occurring; and (b) in accordance with the requirements prescribed by regulation. (2) The CEO of the Agency may, in writing, extend the period mentioned in subsection (1)(a) for a further specified period if the CEO is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances justifying the extension.
