#### 30C Increase in councillors by certain councils 30C Increase in councillors by certain councils > > (1) Despite section 224(3), any of the following councils may, before the ordinary elections due to be held in September 1995, resolve to increase the number of councillors by one— > > > > > Bellingen Shire Council > > > > > Canterbury City Council > > > > > Liverpool City Council > > > > > Newcastle City Council > > > > > Shoalhaven City Council. > > > (2) On the passing of a resolution under subclause (1) by a council, a resolution of the council of the kind referred to in clause 28(3) ceases to have effect. > > > (3) On the passing of a resolution under subclause (1) by the Newcastle City Council, the City of Newcastle is divided into wards as described in the proclamation published in Gazette No 102 of 21 August 1992 on pages 5959–5961.
