244 Local Government (Consequential Provisions) Act 1989 Despite the repeal of the **Local Government (Consequential Provisions) Act 1989** (the ***1989 Act***) by the **Local Government and Planning Legislation Amendment Act 2010**, sections 5(4) and 12 of that 1989 Act continue to apply as if that 1989 Act had not been repealed.
