#### 6 Application of Part 6.1 Application of Part > This Part applies to summary proceedings and application proceedings. > > Note— > > Section 66 of the [Local Court Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-093) and section 70 of the [Crimes (Domestic and Personal Violence) Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-080) provide that the provisions of Part 3 of Chapter 4 of the [Criminal Procedure Act 1986](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1986-209) (being provisions relating to subpoenas) apply, with any necessary modifications, to application proceedings in the same way as they apply to proceedings for summary offences under that Act.
