### 202 Interference with seized property
> > (1) A person must not interfere with, remove or damage any fish, vessel, vehicle, apparatus, equipment or other thing seized under this Part unless authorised to do so by a fisheries officer.

> > Penalty: Fine not exceeding 200 penalty units.

> > (2) A court, in addition to imposing a penalty on a person under [subsection (1)](#GS202@Gs1@EN) , may order the person to pay compensation for any damage or loss to any other person.
