### 199 Arrest > A fisheries officer may arrest a person without warrant if – > > > > (a) the person does not give the information or details required under [section 196](#GS196@EN) ; or > > > > > (b) the fisheries officer reasonably believes that the person has given a false name or address; or > > > > > (c) the fisheries officer reasonably believes that the person has committed an offence under this Act and that – > > > > > > > > (i) the offence is likely to continue or recur if the person is not arrested; or > > > > > > > > > (ii) any other procedure for dealing with the offence would not be effective; or > > > > > (d) the fisheries officer reasonably believes that the person has contravened a control order.
