Part 5 Determination of compensation Division 2 Procedural matters Livestock Regulations 2009 46 (c) calculate a conversion factor (CF) to take into account the age of the bull, in accordance with the following formula: CF = NBV – CMV 5 ; (d) determine the final value (FV) in accordance with the following formula, in which "A" is the age of the bull rounded up to the next highest whole number: FV = NBV – [(A – 3) x CF].
