51A Issue of registration number and marking of hives (1) The Registrar must issue a registration number or a unique identifier to the owner of one or more registered beehives. (2) The owner of a registered beehive must ensure the beehive is marked with the owner's registration number or unique identifier. (3) A marking under subregulation (2) must be: (a) clear and legible; and (b) at least 20 mm in height; and (c) placed on the beehive in a place where it is easily visible.
