73 Sale money to be paid to owner of slaughtered livestock (1) If destroyed livestock are slaughtered at an abattoir, any money payable on the sale of the livestock for slaughter must be paid to the owner of the livestock. (2) If compensation for the slaughtered livestock is paid to their owner, the compensation must be reduced by any amount paid to the owner on the sale of the livestock.
