66 Contact with animal pathogen (1) The owner of livestock must not, without authorisation from the Chief Inspector, allow an animal pathogen to come into contact with any of the livestock. Fault element: Intentionally allowing the contact. (2) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subsection (1) if the defendant establishes a reasonable excuse.
