40 Order for destruction or disposal to minimise risk of disease In addition to specific powers of destruction or disposal under this Act, the Chief Inspector may order the destruction or disposal of anything (including livestock) seized under this Act if: (a) the Chief Inspector reasonably believes the action will assist in minimising the risk of a disease spreading; and (b) the Chief Executive Officer approves the order.
