26 Notification of escape of travelling livestock A person in charge of travelling livestock commits an offence if: (a) any of the livestock escape from the person's control on or onto a property; and (b) the person does not, as soon as reasonably practicable, notify the owner of the property and an inspector of the escape. Fault element: Knowledge of the escape of the livestock.
