18 Notice of restrictions (1) The Chief Inspector may, by Gazette notice, impose restrictions in relation to the prescribed imported livestock specified in the notice. (2) The notice may require the owner of the livestock to do any of the (a) ensure the livestock enter the Territory at a specified place; (b) before the livestock enter the Territory – test or treat them as specified in the notice; (c) before the livestock enter the Territory – identify them or their disease status (or both) as specified in the notice. (3) The owner of prescribed imported livestock must not contravene a notice under subsection (1).
