140 Definition commencement day means the day on which this Act commences.

(2) A distinctive brand registered under the Brands Act 1928 immediately before the commencement day is taken to be a symbol brand registered under this Act. (3) A certificate for a brand issued under the Brands Act 1928 has effect as if issued under this Act. (4) A register kept under the Brands Act 1928 immediately before the commencement day continues in force under this Act.
