Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This determination sets the 2015 annual funding cap for the Indigenous Support Programme at $39.477 million. It limits the total federal payments to universities and higher education providers for programs that promote equality of opportunity in higher education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The cap constrains overall grant availability to institutions and, indirectly, the supports available to Indigenous students.
