Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This Order gives permission for alcohol to be sold and consumed at venues within The Australian National University's Arts Centre.

What it allows:

Alcohol can be sold, bought, and consumed in the building(s) used as the University Arts Centre
This specifically includes The Gods Café and Bar and Vivaldi Restaurant (though other areas within the Arts Centre may also be covered)
These venues are officially approved to operate as cafés and restaurants under ANU's alcohol rules

Who it affects:

Visitors to the ANU Arts Centre who want to buy a drink
The businesses running food and beverage operations there

Why it matters: ANU property follows special alcohol rules separate from standard ACT pub and restaurant licensing laws. This Order is the specific legal document that allows these venues to serve alcohol legally on university land.
