#### 48B Authorisation conferred by pop-up licence 48B Authorisation conferred by pop-up licence > > (1) For the purposes of section 10(1)(g) of the Act, a pop-up licence is prescribed as a type of licence. > > > (2) A pop-up licence (bar) or pop-up licence (event) authorises the licensee to sell or supply liquor on the licensed premises for consumption on the licensed premises on the day or days specified in the licence. > > > (3) The authorisation conferred by a pop-up licence (event) does not apply unless the sale or supply of liquor is in connection with an event and the sale or supply of liquor is ancillary to the purpose for which the event is held. > > > (4) A pop-up licence (promotion) authorises the licensee, on the day or days specified in the licence, to sell or supply the licensee’s product— > > > > > (a) for consumption on the licensed premises for the purpose of tasting, or > > > > > (b) if the licensee’s product is supplied in sealed containers—for consumption away from the licensed premises. > > **cl 48B:** Ins 2019 (125), Sch 1 \[4\].
