117 Exemption relating to registered residential land lease communities—the Act, s 159(4)
> > (1) The provisions of the Act relating to the sale or supply of liquor do not apply to the sale or supply of liquor at a gathering held in a registered residential community if—
> >
> > > (a) the community rules for the registered residential community include an age restriction requiring residents to be at least 55 years old, and
> >
> > > (b) the sale or supply is to an adult who is—
> > >
> > > > (i) a resident of the registered residential community, or
> > >
> > > > (ii) a guest of a resident of the registered residential community, and
> >
> > > (c) the liquor that is sold or supplied at the gathering has been purchased on a retail basis, and
> >
> > > (d) the sale or supply occurs at a temporary bar or in a common area of the registered residential community, and
> >
> > > (e) a member of the residents committee for the registered residential community, or a person nominated by the residents committee, is present at the gathering to supervise the sale and supply of liquor and the conduct of the gathering, and
> >
> > > (f) the residents committee for the registered residential community makes and keeps a record of the gathering, and
> >
> > > (g) the gathering has not been organised, or is not being conducted, by the operator of the registered residential community.

> > (2) In this clause—

> > common area, community rules, operator, resident and residents committee have the same meanings as in the [Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-097).

> > registered residential community means a residential community, within the meaning of the [Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-097), included in the Register kept under that Act, Part 3.
