172F Constitution of Commission (1) The Commission consists of the following members— (a) a commissioner appointed as Chairperson; (b) one or more commissioners (other than the Chairperson) appointed as Deputy Chairpersons; (c) as many additional and sessional commissioners as the Minister considers necessary to enable the Commission to perform its functions. Commissioners are appointed by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister—see sections 172H to 172K. (2) The **Public Administration Act 2004** (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to a commissioner in respect of the office of commissioner. (3) For the purposes of the **Public Administration Act 2004**, the Commission is the Commission as constituted under subsection (1), other than sessional commissioners.
