150 Content of statement of reasons and by when they must be given (1) The Commission must give a written statement of reasons within 28 days after receiving a request under section 149. (2) The statement of reasons must set out— (a) the reasons for the decision; and (b) the findings on material questions of fact that led to the decision, referring to the evidence or other information or material on which those findings were based. (3) A statement of reasons need not be given under this section if the Commission has already given a written statement containing the matters referred to in subsection (2) (whether as part of the decision or separately). (4) The Commission may, in its discretion, exclude personal and confidential information from the statement of reasons if the Commission considers it appropriate in the circumstances.
